Telehealth has changed what is possible for rural healthcare across America. A rural clinician can access expertise that may not be available locally. Hospitals can extend the reach of their existing teams and give patients access to care that geography once made difficult or impossible to provide.
That promise is real, and we are only beginning to see what technology can make possible for rural communities.
