Our evaluation begins by determining the number of ESRD patients in the counties that you serve – on average, ESRD patients are hospitalized twice a year. With that in mind, we’ll look at why ESRD patients are typically admitted to the hospital, determine if our program aligns with your team’s competency, and examine the financial impact it will have for your hospital to care for these patients. Finally, we’ll create a pro forma with you to decide on the next steps.
This is all done in collaboration with your team: your executive leadership, lead clinicians, nurses, and anyone else with valuable insights to contribute.
We collaborate with NxStage and Outset Medical to support our hospital partners in providing dialysis within the hospital setting. You choose which option fits your hospital’s needs.
These innovative dialysis machines are compact, portable, and flexible within the hospital for varied uses: at a patient’s bedside, in the ICU, in the dialysis unit, or at pop-up locations as needed, saving valuable space and reducing costs. A patient can use this machine at home, making it easy for a clinically trained person to use in a hospital setting.
