Tom Northey

Vice President

Tom serves as Vice President for TeleNeph. His career has centered around his passion for empowering rural and disadvantaged communities to expand access, improve outcomes, and preserve healthcare services.

In his former role, Tom served as Chief Innovation Officer for Western Healthcare Alliance, a network of 33 critical access and community-sized hospitals, leading the strategic implementations of a variety of ACO models, a pharmacy benefit management company (Rx distribution) to lower Rx costs for rural patients, and a multi-hospital clinically integrated network and claims data analytics warehouse.

While working for Kaiser Permanente as Enterprise Telehealth Director, Tom led a special team at KP to scale enterprise telehealth operations by 4000% during the pandemic for both physicians and patients. Tom has also assisted Queen’s Health System across the Hawaiian Islands and American Samoa to scale telestroke services. His experience includes managing primary care physicians and growing and selling small businesses.

Throughout his career one principle stands above all the others — relationships are everything. Tom has a Master of Science in Management degree from Regis University and a BA in Speech Communications. Tom believes in giving back to his community via community theater and in caring for a special needs child (now adult) since 2014 in Montrose, CO.
