Kim Fitzgerald

RN, BSN, CNN

Operations Director

With more than 30 years of experience in renal replacement therapy, Kim has dedicated her career to improving access to high‑quality dialysis care—particularly for patients in rural and underserved communities. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Kim Fitzgerald earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University.

Kim’s clinical background spans outpatient dialysis centers and inpatient hospital settings, where she has provided hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis. She has successfully managed both small and large hospital‑based dialysis programs and has extensive experience building and optimizing dialysis operations across diverse care environments.

Before joining TeleNeph, Kim taught hospital nursing teams the principles of renal patient care, dialysis safety, and apheresis procedures, helping health systems strengthen their capabilities and improve patient outcomes.

In her current operations role, Kim partners with rural and critical access hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and correctional facilities to establish and support sustainable dialysis programs within their communities. She is passionate about ensuring patients can receive acute dialysis services close to home—without leaving their families, support systems, or local hospital network during critical moments of care.
